Another successful Authorised SCAE Trainer course, which took place in early November at 9bar's premises in Retorbido, has brought 12 new trainers from three countries.

Besides ten new authorised trainers from Italy, the course also brought the first Authorised SCAE trainers from the US and from France.

The Authorised Trainer course, which is given over two days, was run by Alf Kramer, Andrea Lattuada and Heinz Trachsel. It included an in-depth discussion of the SCAE's education policies and its training programme, an explanation of the Association's new Coffee Diploma System, and a group workshop on what the SCAE should be.

Each trainer presented their own education and experience in coffee to the group, and explained their goals in training and what they expected from the SCAE.

At the conclusion of the two-day course, diplomas were distributed to all of the participants, adding their names to the distinguished list of Authorised SCAE Trainers worldwide.
