Pioneer speciality coffee roaster Thanksgiving Coffee in mid-July said that it was once again roasting coffee on site after a major fire earlier in the month damaged its plant in Fort Bragg, California.

The fire, which was thought to be the result of arson, caused extensive damage, but left the company's green coffee warehouse and roaster intact. With local support and assistance from three other regional roasters, Thanksgiving said, the company was able to continue to fill orders for its coffees.
Thanksgiving, founded in 1972, is run by SCAA Past President Paul Katzeff.
