Breathe in and taste the coffee
INTERNATIONAL 12th March
Two American speciality retailers are now offering an inhalable coffee powder called Le Whif, a mid-March report in the Chicago Tribune said.
The product, created by Harvard University biomedical engineering professor David Edwards, is retailing at $3 (€2.18) per packet in a candy store in New York and a gourmet outlet near Boston.
Produced by Paris-based experimental products firm LaboGroup, the Le Whif powder is claimed to be a new approach to eating by breathing, giving consumers an experience of “flavour without the calories.”
