World Barista Championship seeks sponsorship manager

The World Barista Championship is seeking a sponsorship manager.

The successful applicant will be an individual or company with a proven track record of sponsorship sales or partnership programmes. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sponsorship programme for the World Barista Championship. They will work closely with the Board of Directors. Knowledge and experience of the coffee industry is desirable, but not essential. They should be able to demonstrate that they can work in a multinational environment and are able to develop packages attractive to potential sponsors, not only from within the coffee industry, but also from sponsors representing more general “lifestyle” industries. They will also be responsible for follow-up communications, and maintain sponsor relationships throughout the event.

Remuneration will be on a commission-only basis.
