Australia’s Haralambopoulos triumphs in World Latte Art Championship

Australian barista Con Haralambopoulos on June 20 became the winner of the SCAE’s World Latte Art Championship, held at the Wonderful Coffee event in Copenhagen.

The tightly contested competition saw Russia’s Kira Malchenko come just a half point behind the winner’s 46-point score.

Tied for third place with 44 points in the well-attended contest were Akihiro Okada of Japan and New Zealand’s Carl Sara, himself a veteran of the World Barista Championships.
