A study of close to 86,000 women over the course of 22 years has ruled out any link between coffee or tea consumption and breast cancer, a Reuters report said in late May.Researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health looked in depth at health factors affecting the women taking part in the Nurses’ Health Study, and found that there was no higher risk of breast cancer among those drinking four or more cups daily, as among those drinking less than one cup.
The study also indicated no apparent link between the consumption of caffeinated drinks and the disease, according to the details published in the International Journal of Cancer.
