Time to get snapping in the SCAE Coffee Photography Competition

Following last year's successful first edition of the SCAE Coffee Photography Competition, all SCAE members are once again invited to take out their cameras and submit their favourite photos on any coffee theme.

An independent panel will choose the top three entries, and the photographers will receive an award recognising their achievement at the SCAE Awards for Coffee Excellence Midsummer Party, during Wonderful Coffee 2008 in Copenhagen.

Photographs submitted will be displayed at the event. The winning photographs will appear both on the SCAE website and in the September 2008 edition of Café Europa.

Deadline for submissions: June 1, 2008

In the subject line of your email, please state:
"SCAE Coffee Photography Competition"

In the body of your email, please state:

1. Your SCAE membership number
2. SCAE membership name
3. Name of the photographer
4. The file name of the photograph attached
5. The title of the photograph (if any)

Competition rules

1. The competition is open only to members of the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe.
2. Your photograph must be submitted as a high-resolution JPEG file.
3. Each member (individual, company or other body) may submit one (1) entry only (no multiple entries, please).
4. If you have joined the SCAE as an individual, the work submitted must be your own.
5. Corporate/organisational members may designate their chosen photographer, but, in submitting a photograph, they warrant that they in fact own the copyright to the photograph and grant the SCAE the right to use the photograph as stated below. Photographs submitted must not have been used in advertising.
6. By submitting an entry, you agree to these rules and to granting the SCAE the fair use of the photograph at the exhibition, in Café Europa and on our website, www.scae.com.
