Founding director and past President of the SCAA (5 years).

Served on board of Coffee Development Group representing speciality coffee in US as part of the ICO.

Co-founder and developer of Coffee Bean International Inc supplying speciality coffee worldwide. Co-founder and board member of a coffee retail chain which was eventually sold to Diedrich Coffee Inc. becoming the second largest spec. coffee retailer in US.

Consultancies have included working with several coffee producing countries, many funded by USAID - Nepal, Guyana, Guatemala, Peru. Heavily involved in developing and improving Haitian coffee, especially an international marketing strategy for Haitian Bleu.

Consultant to over 200 founders of speciality coffee retailers within US market.

Group leader for SCAA trips to Costa Rica, Kona Hawaii and Indonesia.
